Health Tips & Medical Aid :
Medications and pharmacies are widely available throughout The globe, but you will find it much easier if you fill your prescriptions in advance.

Prior to your departure, consult with your doctor, particularly if you have ongoing health concerns and additionally if you need any immunizations.

Check your health insurance policy to be sure you are covered while traveling abroad, and take a copy of your ID card before leaving. Alternatively, you may consider purchasing travel insurance.

Because you will be eating and drinking foods and beverages that your body is not accustomed to, you may want to take a few simple precautions.. because your body is simply not accustomed to the local bacteria, it is not a bad idea to purchase and drink bottled or filtered water, as do most travelers.

Carry prescription medicine in its original packaging in your carry-on luggage and a copy of your Prescription should you need to replenish your supply while traveling.

It is useful to carry basic over-the-counter remedies such as charcoal caps and ginger for minor travel irritations including motion sickness. Bring sunscreen and insect repellant as well, both of which can be purchased elsewhere, but it may be easier and less expensive to carry your own.

Jet lag causes more controversy than any other feature about traveling, and theories abound. Among the most common advice is to "reset" your sleep patterns by going to bed early a few nights before you leave. Sleep as much as you can on the plane, and walk and stretch when awake. Switch your watch to the local time as soon as you board the plane. Drink plenty of water and avoid alcoholic and caffeinated beverages while in flight. Upon arrival in a new time zone, take a short nap, have a light meal at the appropriate local hour and perhaps a brief stroll afterward. Eat lightly for two or three days, keep the first day's itinerary relaxed and allow about 24 hours to adjust. On day two, you’ll be raring to go!
